Description
Christmas Eve, and the snow has finally come. Down at the station in the valley, a little red train is getting up steam, its whistle shrill in the frosty air, and at the controls, cheeks glowing above his white beard, is none other than Père Noël himself. Behind him rattles a carriage loaded to the windows with parcels tied in ribbon. The village children, noses pressed to their bedroom windows, swear they can hear it chuffing over the hills long after midnight.
This two-piece Santa train set brings that magical journey to your own holiday display. Line the pieces up along a mantel among the evergreen garlands, set them beneath the tree on a bed of cotton snow, or arrange them on a sideboard beside the advent calendar. It makes a joyful gift for a family with young children, for a train enthusiast who loves Christmas, or for a grandparent who decorates every corner of the house come December. Small treasures, a tiny note to Santa or a few sweets can ride along inside.
