Description
Giverny in high summer, and the pond is perfectly still. Water lilies drift across the surface in pale pink and white, the willows trail their branches in the water, and the Japanese bridge reflects so clearly that it seems to form a complete circle. On the largest lily pad of all sits a frog, utterly at ease, as if he knows he is part of the most famous garden in France. A dragonfly passes. He does not even blink. Summer afternoons, after all, were made for exactly this.
This box brings that tranquil pond to life, with a frog on his lily pad surrounded by lively colors and floral details. It hides a secret space for small treasures, perfect for a ring, a charm or a few coins for wishing. Consider it for a gardener with a pond, a fan of Monet, or a child who collects frogs of every kind. Place it on a sunny windowsill or among plants in a conservatory, where it will look right at home. Even the most serious gardener will smile at him.
