Description
Listen. As the sun goes down over the pond behind the mill, the evening chorus begins. First one voice, then another, then dozens, until the whole bank of reeds is singing. Children sitting on the dock try to count the frogs by their calls, give up after twelve, and simply lie back to listen as the first stars appear.
This box catches one of those evening singers in full voice. A frog in a chirping pose seems to be calling out across the water, his throat swelling with song, his posture full of springy energy. It is a charming, nature-inspired design that makes a fun gift for frog lovers, nature enthusiasts, gardeners with ponds and children who love catching tadpoles. Set it on a windowsill overlooking the garden, a desk in need of a little cheer, or a shelf among other frogs and turtles in a growing collection. It has the light, happy feeling of a warm evening and the sounds of summer. His green skin is shaded from deep moss to bright leaf, and his bulging eyes and wide mouth give him a comical, endearing face that children and adults alike find irresistible.
