Description
It was Noémie who found it, curled in the armchair by the window on Christmas morning: a red hat with a white trim, a little crumpled, and beneath it, a small present wrapped in gold paper. There was no note. The family debated it all through breakfast. Papa thought it might be a joke. Grand-mère said it was obvious. Santa had sat down for a moment’s rest, taken off his hat to wipe his brow, and forgotten it entirely in his hurry to get to the next house. They kept it safe on the mantel all year, just in case.
This box is shaped like a Santa hat resting with a gift, a playful, storytelling piece that invites a little imagination. It makes a charming present for a child who loves Christmas mysteries, a friend who collects Santa memorabilia, or anyone who would enjoy finding a surprise beneath a hat. Display it on an armchair side table, a mantel, or a windowsill, as though Santa might come back for it any moment now.
