Description
At sunset in the Camargue, where the Rhône meets the sea, the marshes turn rose and gold, and thousands of flamingos wade through the shallows. Two of them, a little apart from the rest, stand with their necks curved toward each other, as if sharing a secret. A photographer on the dyke lowers his camera and simply watches. He has come back every year for twenty summers, and still the sight takes his breath away. Behind him, the white horses of the delta gallop through the salt flats.
This graceful pair is a perfect gift for lovers of tropical décor, beach houses and bright colour, and it carries a romantic message too: flamingos are often seen in couples. Give it for an anniversary, a destination wedding, a retirement to Florida or a birthday by the sea. Display it on a sunny windowsill, a bathroom shelf among seashells, or a patio table indoors. The box opens to hold a small trinket or a ring. Their soft pink plumage glows against the leafy green, making them a cheerful splash of holiday colour all year.
