Description
Not every witch is wicked. In a crooked little house at the edge of the village, where pumpkins line the steps and a black cat sleeps on the broom, lives a witch who spends all of October making candy. Gumdrops in every color, sticky and sweet, bubble in her cauldron. On Halloween night she sets out with her basket, knocking on doors and handing out treats to every child in a costume, cackling with pure delight at each tiny ghost and pirate.
This is a charming piece for a Halloween lover, a candy fanatic or the friend who decorates the front porch weeks before anyone else. It makes a fun autumn birthday present, a hostess gift for a costume party or a whimsical treat for a teacher at the end of October. Display it on a mantel among pumpkins and candles, or on a kitchen shelf beside the candy jar.
