Description
Owls were the only witnesses. Late on Halloween night, when the last trick-or-treaters had gone home and the pumpkin patch lay silver under the moon, a little ghost drifted down and settled on the roundest pumpkin in the field. It looked around, decided the view was perfect, and stayed there until dawn, waving at every owl that swooped past. By sunrise it had made three friends, learned two owl songs and promised to come back next year.
This box shows a ghost sitting on a pumpkin, a gentle and endearing take on Halloween that leans far more toward charm than fright. It is a lovely choice for a child’s first Halloween, a cosy autumn shelf or a growing collection of seasonal pieces. Set it beside a bowl of acorns, among candles on a mantel, or on a desk where it can keep quiet watch through October. Its hinged lid hides a space just big enough for a tiny treat or a lucky coin. On November mornings, once the costumes are packed away, it still looks perfectly at home among gourds and fallen leaves on the hall table.
