Description
Biscuit has opinions. She prefers the left side of the sofa, refuses to walk in the rain and expects a fresh bow in her topknot every Sunday morning. When visitors arrive she inspects them from a distance with a slow, appraising stare, decides they are acceptable and then leans against their ankles for the rest of the afternoon. Should anyone dare to sit in her chosen spot, she simply waits beside it, sighing loudly, until the mistake is corrected.
Anyone who has shared a home with a Shih Tzu will recognize that silvery charm in this little grey box. Picture it as a present for a groomer, a dog-show enthusiast or an owner who has photographed her pup more times than her own children. Set it on a vanity among the hairbrushes and ribbons, or on a mantel beside a framed portrait of the real queen of the house, where it can supervise the household as any good Shih Tzu should.
