Description
Easter was coming, and the eggs were still blank. Lapin Leroux, the finest painter in the whole warren, set up his easel in a sunny clearing and squeezed every color he owned onto his palette: buttercup yellow, crocus purple, sky blue and the pink of apple blossom. By sunset, five hundred eggs glowed in the grass, and he fell asleep with a brush still in his paw.
This delightful box brings that busy little artist to life. A rabbit stands at his easel holding a palette, brush poised, ready for the next masterpiece. Bright, cheerful colors make the piece sing, and the theme suits Easter, spring or any celebration of creativity. Made by Rochard, it lifts open to hide small treasures or keepsakes. Present it to a young painter, a school art club leader, a grandmother who teaches watercolor at the community center or a collector of rabbit figures.
