Description
Some treasures keep a secret. When Clémence inherited her godmother’s dressing table, she found a round blue box nested among the hairpins and assumed the gilded blossoms on its lid were the whole story. Then she lifted it to dust beneath and gasped: someone had painted flowers on the underside too, a hidden garden meant for the owner alone. She has shown it to exactly three people since, and each one has smiled in the same delighted way.
That surprise is the quiet charm of this piece. The lid glows in blue scattered with golden florals, and the base carries its own floral decoration for anyone curious enough to look. It would suit a bride as her something blue, a mother on her birthday, a godchild on her confirmation, or a collector who appreciates the details others miss. Inside, a pair of earrings or a pressed flower would feel right at home.
