Description
Muddy paws on the doormat, a wagging tail knocking a vase off the hall table, and two big brown eyes looking up as if to say: was that me? Every family with a Labrador knows the routine. Max chased the ball into the lake every single morning, and every single morning he shook himself dry right next to the person wearing white. They loved him anyway. Of course they did. He was the best dog in the world, and every one of the children still says so.
This handsome Lab makes a heartfelt gift for anyone who has shared their life with one: a new puppy owner, a dog trainer, a hunter with a loyal retriever, or someone grieving a well-loved companion. Set him on a mantel beside framed photographs, a desk at work, or a hallway shelf near the leash hooks. Inside, there is a hidden compartment for a collar tag or a small keepsake. The warm cream-gold coat and alert, friendly stance are rendered with real affection for the breed.
