Description
Lavender rows hummed with bees all afternoon in the garden at Grasse, and somewhere among them prowled Mistigri, the black cat. She was hunting, or rather pretending to. A butterfly with wings of orange and blue danced just out of reach, landed on a stem, lifted off again the moment she crouched. Mistigri leapt, missed, rolled over in the lavender and lay there purring, perfectly content, as though missing had been her plan all along.
This Rochard box captures that summer game, a black cat playing with a vibrant butterfly. Compact enough for a shelf or desk, it makes a cheerful gift for cat lovers, butterfly enthusiasts, gardeners or anyone with a black cat of their own. Superstitions aside, it is a reminder that black cats bring nothing but good luck and good company.
