Description
Above the clouds on Christmas Eve, the sky is said to be very busy. Sleighs, of course, and the occasional flock of geese, but also, if you believe the old pilots at the aéroclub, a small plane that appears only on that one night. Its wings are spangled with gold stars, and it flies low over sleeping towns, dipping its wings to anyone still awake at the window.
This box is that starry little plane, ready for its midnight flight. It makes a wonderful gift for a pilot, a frequent flyer, a child obsessed with aircraft, or a loved one heading home for the holidays from far away. Set it on a desk beside a globe, or hang a sprig of mistletoe above it on the bookcase to mark the season. Its starry wings make it a natural fit for a child’s bedroom ceiling of glow-in-the-dark stars.
