Description
Saturday night at the mouse house, and the whole family is gathered for a feast. Somebody has found a cheeseburger, the biggest anyone has ever seen, and dragged it home through the hole in the pantry wall. Now they are all sitting around it, nibbling at the sesame bun, arguing over the pickle and helping themselves to the melted cheese. Grandmother Mouse says it is the best supper since the great Camembert of last Christmas.
This box captures that happy, greedy gathering. Little mice are painted enjoying their cheeseburger at home, full of whimsy and good humor. The piece has three hinged openings, so there are three tiny places to keep treasures on a desk or mantel, perhaps a ring in one, a charm in another and a secret note in the third. It is a delightful conversation piece and a playful gift for mouse lovers, cheese lovers, fast food fans and anyone who appreciates a good joke. It especially suits a kitchen shelf where midnight snacks are known to disappear.
