Description
Each December, the family drove out to the farm to choose a tree, and each year the children argued about which one was the most perfect. One wanted the tallest, one wanted the fullest, and one always fell in love with the scraggly little one nobody else would take. Their mother, wiser than all of them, simply chose the tree that would fit in the old woven basket by the fireplace, and somehow it was always the right one.
This box captures a Christmas tree in a woven basket, and when the lid is lifted, the words Merry Christmas are inscribed inside, a lovely surprise. It makes a delightful gift for a Christmas collector, a hostess, or a family celebrating its first holiday in a new home. Unlike its living cousin, it will need no watering, no stand and no vacuuming afterward, and it will look just as fresh next December as it does today.
