Description
Three ghosts sat in a pumpkin patch and could not agree on anything. The first wanted to frighten the farmer. The second wanted to frighten the farmer’s cat. The third, who was the youngest, wanted only to sit beside the biggest pumpkin and admire it. They argued for an hour, then two, until the moon had climbed halfway up the sky. In the end, as so often happens among friends, they simply sat down together around the pumpkin, watched the stars, and forgot what the argument had been about.
This box shows three ghosts gathered with a pumpkin, a cheerful scene of friendship with a spooky twist. It makes a perfect gift for three siblings, a trio of best friends, or a family with three children who love dressing up each October. Nestle it among real pumpkins on a porch shelf, a mantel draped with autumn leaves, or a child’s bookcase beside a favorite Halloween storybook. Gift it on a shared birthday or a reunion, and the three ghosts will stand in for the friends themselves.
