Description
Everyone has one: the uncle, the father, the neighbor who arrives with a tool box before you have even finished describing the problem. For the Moreau family, it was Grandpa Gérard. A dripping tap, a wobbly chair, a bicycle with a slipped chain, it made no difference. He would set down his battered red tool box, open the lid with a satisfying clank, select a pair of pliers with the care of a surgeon, and hum an old song while he worked. Nothing ever stayed broken for long in that household.
This miniature tool box celebrates every handy hero like Gérard. Its sturdy shape and a pair of pliers are painted with crisp detail, capturing the honest charm of a well-used workbench. It makes a clever gift for Father’s Day, a new homeowner, a carpenter, an engineer, or the friend who always shows up to help you move house. Set it on a desk in a home office, a shelf in the garage workshop, or among family photographs. At about two and a quarter inches square, it is just the right size for a few spare screws or cufflinks.
