Description
Late August in Provence, and the sun sinks behind the hills in a long orange blaze. On a terrace above the village, someone is pouring the last of the rosé, the cicadas are winding down, and the stone walls give back the heat of the day like a slow breath. Down in the square, someone is playing pétanque by lamplight, and the clack of the boules carries up the hill.
This tall round box glows with that same warmth. Its orange exterior is decorated with floral designs, cheerful and sunny, a welcome jolt of color in a room of neutrals. Standing tall, it holds its own on a crowded mantel, and its interior keeps small treasures safe. Give it to someone who loves warm colors, a friend just back from the south of France, or anyone who needs a little extra sunshine on a gray winter morning.
