Description
Sunlight on the water, the smell of salt and sunscreen, and the sound of children cannonballing into the pool for the hundredth time this afternoon. On the terrace, someone is slicing watermelon. Someone else is asleep in a hammock with a paperback over their face. It is the first week of the summer holidays at the beach house, and nobody has looked at a clock in days. By evening, the grown-ups will light the grill and the kids will chase fireflies along the dunes until well past bedtime.
This box captures that perfect summer feeling. A cheerful oceanfront villa is painted in bright, sunny colors, with a shimmering pool that looks inviting enough to dive into. It opens to keep a seashell, a key to the beach house or a ring removed before swimming. Set on a mantel, it brings warmth to even the coldest winter day. It is a wonderful housewarming or new-home gift, especially for someone who has just bought their dream place by the sea, or someone still dreaming of it.
