Description
Nobody knew how the bear got onto the kitchen table. One moment he was sitting on the dresser in his red Santa hat; the next, he was perched squarely on top of the biggest cupcake on the plate, as though guarding it from the entire household. Maman laughed so hard she let him keep it. The children ate the rest. He sat there all evening, very serious, his little red hat slightly askew.
This box combines two irresistible things, a cuddly Santa teddy and a festive cupcake, in one playful porcelain form. It is just right for someone with a sweet tooth, a baker who decorates cupcakes every December, or a teddy collector who has everything. On a kitchen shelf or a child’s dresser, it brings a burst of charm, and it is small enough to tuck into a stocking. It is also a cute way to mark a December birthday, when the cake and the Christmas tree have to share the spotlight.
