Description
Deep in the woods, past the frozen pond and over the stone bridge, stood the smallest house in the valley. It had only one room and a single window, but every Christmas Eve the old woman who lived there kept a candle burning in it. She knew Santa would come. He always did, stamping the snow from his boots on her step, sitting down by her stove for a cup of tea and a slice of spice cake before continuing on his way. She looked forward to it all year.
This box tells that gentle story of a cozy, snow-covered home. Santa visits a little Christmas house, a scene of warmth and welcome that honors humble hearths and kind visitors. It would move someone who has just bought a first home, a grandparent who lives in the countryside, or a collector building a miniature holiday village. Set it on a windowsill with cotton snow and a battery candle, and it becomes a whole winter evening in miniature.
