Description
Rain had been falling for three days, and the children were restless. So their grandfather sat them down by the fire and told the old story of the ark, the animals marching two by two, the giraffes ducking their heads to fit through the door, the elephants complaining about the stairs. He did all the voices. By the time he reached the rainbow, the sun had come out over the orchard.
This Noah’s Ark box is a story waiting to be told again. Its detailed animals crowd the deck in vibrant painted colors, each one inviting a small finger to point and a voice to name it. It makes a meaningful christening or baptism gift, a treasure for a child’s nursery shelf, or a keepsake for a grandparent who loves to tell tales. Whoever receives it will find themselves retelling the tale long after the christening cake is gone, pointing out the lions, the zebras and the pair who nearly missed the boat.
