Description
Rain had been falling for days when the little boy asked his grandmother to tell the ark story again. So she did, with all the voices: the grumbling elephants, the giggling monkeys, the giraffes ducking their long necks through the doorway. By the time the dove returned with an olive branch, he was fast asleep and dreaming of rainbows. In the morning he drew the whole procession in crayon and taped it proudly to the fridge.
Painted in vibrant colours, this Noah’s Ark has a double hinged design that opens two ways, making it a playful piece to explore as well as admire. It is a beloved choice for a christening, a baptism or a baby’s naming day, and equally treasured by grown-up collectors of animals and storybook scenes. Keep it on a nursery shelf where small eyes can watch for animals, on a bookshelf beside a children’s bible, or in a curio cabinet. Its cheerful colours bring warmth to any room, and its message of hope suits every season.
