Description
Eighteenth green, a perfect June evening, and the club champion lines up the putt that will win him the trophy. He crouches, studies the slope, takes a breath. Then, just as he draws back the putter, a small brown mouse pops out of the rough, scampers across the green and settles comfortably on top of his ball. The gallery erupts in laughter. The champion, to his credit, laughs too, and the story is told at the clubhouse bar every summer since.
This box celebrates that kind of happy chaos. A mouse is perched on a golf ball, painted with whimsy and charm, and the piece features a hinged design that opens to reveal a painted interior. Inside there is room for a tee, a ball marker or a tiny trophy of one’s own. It brightens a desk, a den or a shelf of sporting memorabilia, and it makes a fun gift for golfers, coaches, caddies and anyone who loves the game but refuses to take it too seriously. It is especially good for Father’s Day or a hole-in-one celebration.
