Description
Small things are often the most loved. Ask anyone who carried a little bear in a coat pocket through the first day of school, or tucked one into a suitcase before a long trip abroad. Antoine’s bear was barely the size of his thumb, and it went everywhere with him: to the dentist, to his grandmother’s funeral, to his university exams. He still has it, somewhere in a drawer, its fur worn smooth by years of reassurance.
This miniature bear captures that kind of pocket-sized devotion. Small in scale, he has lifelike features and a gentle face painted with surprising detail for his size. His compact shape makes him easy to display almost anywhere, on a crowded bookshelf, beside a computer monitor, or tucked among framed photos on a dresser. He is a charming gift for teddy bear fans, for a child heading off to a new school, or for an adult who needs a small, comforting reminder of home. He also makes a lovely first piece for a young collector just beginning to love Limoges boxes.
