Description
Every family has its own card game, and in this family it is belote, played every Sunday after lunch at the long table under the plane tree. Uncle Henri always wins, which everyone suspects is because he keeps the joker up his sleeve. Aunt Simone accuses him; he denies everything with a theatrical bow. The children giggle. Someone deals again, and the cicadas keep singing in the heat. By evening, the scorecard is covered in arguments and crossings-out, and nobody can remember who was ahead.
This round box features a joker design with playful patterns and a lively palette, full of mischief and good humor. Petite and compact, it is fitted with a decorative closure that adds a polished finish. It makes a fun gift for a poker player, a bridge partner, a magician, or a friend with a wicked sense of humor. On a games table, a bar cart or a desk, it is a cheeky reminder not to take life too seriously. Its small size makes it easy to slip into a pocket or a card case for game night.
