Description
Where were you the first time the lights went down and the screen flickered to life? For Lucien, it was a velvet seat in a little cinema in Montmartre, a bag of sugared almonds on his knee and Gene Kelly splashing through puddles in a film from across the ocean. He walked home that night dancing on the kerb, and he has loved the movies ever since. He still keeps every ticket stub in a shoebox under the bed.
This box is a love letter to that feeling. It celebrates Hollywood and the golden age of the silver screen, and it comes with a small film reel that lifts away, ready to be placed beside it like a prop on a set. Give it to the friend who can quote every classic, the family member with a home theatre, or a young film student dreaming of seeing their name in lights. Displayed with the reel set beside it, the box looks like a scene paused mid-shoot.
