Description
Nobody remembered where Pistache came from. One spring he was simply there, standing in the orchard of the old farm near Avignon, chewing thoughtfully on a fallen apple. The children named him, the farmer grumbled, and within a week he was carrying baskets of cherries to the gate and following everyone around like an enormous, slightly stubborn puppy. He stayed for twenty years.
This donkey shares Pistache’s kind, unhurried spirit. It makes a heartwarming gift for an animal lover, someone who volunteers at a sanctuary, a child who adores farm animals, or a friend who has just moved to the country. Set it on a kitchen windowsill, a bookshelf beside a stack of farm stories, or among a Nativity display at Christmas, where donkeys have always held a place of honor. Its long ears and gentle expression are irresistible. Some people simply like donkeys for their patience and loyalty, qualities worth keeping close every day.
