Description
High in the mountains above the old kingdom, legend says, a dragon sleeps curled around a hoard of gold. Its scales shimmer emerald and crimson in the firelight, its wings fold like great leather sails, and when it breathes, the snow on the peaks melts into streams. Shepherds tell their children never to wake it. The children, naturally, climb a little higher every summer, hoping to catch just a glimpse of that glittering tail.
This colorful dragon brings all that myth and wonder home. It is a thrilling gift for a fantasy reader who has devoured every saga, a gamer who has slain a thousand digital beasts, or a child who believes dragons are absolutely real. It also suits anyone born in the Year of the Dragon. Entrust it with a ring, a lucky charm or a tiny gem, and display it on a bookshelf among the epic novels or on a study table, standing guard.
