Description
One, two, three, four! The drummer counts off and the little club in Lyon erupts. On stage, a gray-haired guitarist who sells insurance by day closes his eyes and bends a note so long and sweet that the bartender stops pouring. His daughter, sixteen and mortified, films the solo on her phone. Later she will post it with the caption: okay, he’s actually kind of amazing.
This slim porcelain guitar carries all that amplified joy. Its body, neck and headstock are drawn with real attention, and the words ROCK U.S.A. are painted inside as a cheeky backstage pass. It belongs on a music room shelf, a home studio desk or beside a vinyl collection. Gift it to a garage-band legend, a guitar teacher or a teenager learning their first riff. Hung on the wall beside a real six-string, it looks like the instrument’s very own understudy, waiting for its moment under the spotlight.
