Description
Evening in the study meant leather armchairs, a crackling fire and the faint scent of cedar. Monsieur Bernard would loosen his tie, settle into his chair with the newspaper, and lay a fine cigar in its ashtray while he hunted for the crossword. His wife claimed she could tell from down the hall exactly how his day had gone, just by how long he waited before lighting it.
A good cigar is never hurried, and neither is the conversation that comes with it. This porcelain cigar in a Cohiba ashtray brings that unhurried ritual to a shelf or desk. Consider it for a cigar aficionado, a new father celebrating the old-fashioned way, a groomsman, or a friend marking a promotion or a business deal. Display it in a library, on a bar cart beside crystal glasses, or in a gentleman’s study among leather-bound books and a globe.
