Description
Have you ever stood perfectly still while a butterfly decided whether you were a flower? Hélène had, in the summer she turned twelve, in a meadow above Annecy full of wild thyme. A pale butterfly settled on her wrist, opened and closed its wings three times, and drifted away. Her mother said it was a sign of change. That autumn the family moved to Paris, and Hélène always believed the butterfly had known before anyone else. She still keeps a pressed wildflower from that meadow.
This heart carries that sense of gentle transformation. A butterfly motif spreads across its surface, and the whole heart rests on a gold base that gives it a lovely, jewel-like presence. It opens to keep small treasures, earrings, a locket or a pressed flower. Choose it to mark a graduation, a new chapter, a recovery or a remembrance, or simply for anyone who loves butterflies. On a dressing table or a bedside shelf, the gold catches the light softly, morning and evening. The delicate wings are painted with real tenderness, and the soft colours seem to flutter.
