Description
Rub the lamp. Go on, nobody is watching. In the storybook version, the cave is dark and glittering with treasure, the walls studded with gems the size of plums, and a clever young man named Aladdin finds a dusty old lamp that changes everything. Children hearing the tale for the first time always ask the same question: what would you wish for? The answers are wonderfully varied, from a pony to a castle to unlimited ice cream. Grown-ups, if they are honest, usually wish for a little more time.
This box brings the legend to life in porcelain. The lamp is detailed with elegant curves and a graceful spout, and a little Aladdin figurine comes with it, a separate piece that can sit beside the lamp or be tucked inside. Picture it in the hands of a child who loves fairy tales, a theater fan who has seen the musical twice, or a dreamer with big plans for the future. Displayed on a bookshelf or a dressing table, it adds a touch of magic and mystery to any room. Its graceful handle curls like a question mark, and the tiny hero looks ready to spring into adventure.
