Description
Ta-daaa! The trumpet blares, the drums roll and the big top flaps in the wind as the circus parade marches into the village square. At the very front, wearing enormous shoes and a red nose, a clown puffs out his cheeks and plays a tune that is cheerful, loud and only a little bit out of tune. Behind him come the jugglers, the acrobats and a very dignified elephant. The children run alongside, shrieking with delight. Even the mayor, standing stiffly on the town hall steps, cannot help tapping his foot.
This merry clown brings that circus joy home. He is a wonderful gift for a young trumpet player, a music teacher, a performer after opening night or anyone who loved the circus as a child. Set him on a nursery shelf, a music room bookcase or a desk where he can provide a daily dose of cheer. Pair him with his saxophone-playing friend and the parade is already beginning to form.
