Description
Long ago, it is said, a pineapple on the table was the grandest welcome a host could offer, so rare and so costly that some were borrowed for a single evening and carefully returned the next day. Guests would see it gleaming at the center of the feast and know they had been truly honored. Whether every detail of the legend is true hardly matters; the pineapple has meant welcome ever since, carved over doorways and stitched into samplers.
This golden pineapple box carries that spirit of hospitality into any home. Its vibrant design glows on an entry table, a kitchen counter or a guest room dresser, where it quietly says, we are so glad you are here. Give it as a housewarming present, a hostess thank-you or a welcome gift for new neighbors, with a few wrapped sweets tucked inside. It also makes a thoughtful gesture for a bed and breakfast owner or a dear friend who always keeps the guest room ready.
