Description
Mist hung low over the mountains of Sichuan, and the bamboo forest dripped with morning dew. In a clearing, a young panda rolled onto his back, waved all four paws in the air and then, apparently surprised by his own cleverness, rolled over again. His mother ignored him completely. She was busy with breakfast, stripping a stalk of bamboo with great concentration. Eventually he gave up showing off and sat beside her, chewing happily on a leaf.
This Rochard box captures that endearing moment, a panda on a green base with a bamboo accent. It is a lovely gift for wildlife lovers, conservation supporters, travellers returning from China, or a child who adores pandas. On a bookshelf or desk, it is a peaceful reminder of the wild places that deserve protecting, and of the simple pleasure of a good meal.
