Will We Know Our Family In Heaven – When I was young, I didn’t think much about heaven. First, it feels very boring—at least that’s how the world portrays it. Second, it seems like it’s still a long way off. And third, I didn’t have anyone there that I knew. But I know many people who are in heaven now. I can’t wait to get there and be with them.

In heaven, we will be reunited with loved ones who love God. Those in God’s family will all be there.

Who would you like to talk to first in heaven? Of course, you will meet and worship God first. But who would you like to meet next? Every believer throughout history will be there. Do you want to talk to Moses? You can! What about Abraham or Mary or Paul? I don’t know about you, but I definitely have some questions for Jonah. You will see famous people from throughout Christian history and scientists and world leaders and people from every tribe and nation. You’ll have forever to talk to them!

Because Someone We Love Is In Heaven There’s A Little Bit

My mother is in heaven, my father is in heaven, my older brother, Jim, is in heaven, and my youngest son, Matthew, is in heaven. I have many loved ones serving with me in ministry in heaven. The more my family and friends are on the verge of death, the more heaven becomes dear to me.

Are you encouraged by the thought of being in the presence of Jesus and reuniting with your friends and family? When we grieve with someone, we must share that encouragement with them. If they and their loved ones know Jesus as their Savior, then death is not the end. They will see it again!

This is God’s goodness to us, that there is no greater hope in life than a big family reunion forever!

The Bible says you can only enter heaven by believing in God through His Son, Jesus Christ. You cannot earn your way into heaven:

So let me offer seven verses of Scripture that I have used to help people who wonder if they will be reunited with their loved ones and believers in heaven. All of these things indicate that we know each other in the resurrection, and some of them point to believers getting to know each other immediately after death.

David knew that he would see his son again in the presence of the Lord, and knowing that he would be reunited with the son he loved gave him comfort in his sorrow.

Keeping Heaven In The Home — For The Gospel

Our Lord said that many people would come from the east and west and sit down to eat together “with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 8:11).

Abraham was the father of Isaac and grandfather of Jacob, and in heaven he enjoyed the company of his son and grandson, while Jacob enjoyed the company of his father and grandfather.

Jesus said to His disciples, “I will not drink of this fruit of the vine until the day I drink it in a new way in My Father’s kingdom.

The eleven people who took part in the Last Supper with Jesus on earth will eat and drink with Him in heaven. Peter, James, John, and the others will be named and known in heaven as clearly as they are named and known on earth.

When the glory of Jesus was revealed in the transfiguration, we are told that “Moses and Elijah appeared to them and spoke with him” (Matthew 17:3).

This is interesting because when Moses and Elijah appeared, they did not have resurrection bodies. They are the souls seen like the angels seen by the shepherds, and like the souls under the altar seen by John (Revelation 6:9). Although they were still waiting to wear resurrection bodies, Moses and Elijah were already known. They are easy to spot and can engage in conversation. This tells us much about the conscious joy of communion that believers experience immediately after death in the presence of God.

The writer of Hebrews speaks of “the spirits of the righteous perfected,” that is, the souls of believers in the presence of Jesus. These souls, he tells us, are gathered in “the congregation of the firstborn” (Hebrews 12:23)

Right now, in heaven, the spirits of the righteous who have been perfected are being gathered. Gathering means community, and community means relationships.

Will It Be Possible For Us To Sin In Heaven?

Paul emphasized that the believers he loved on earth would be his joy in heaven. “For who will be our hope or joy or crown of splendor in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Isn’t that you?” (1 Thessalonians 2:19). When Paul said this, he clearly anticipated that the relationships forged on earth would continue in heaven.

When Paul wrote to believers who were grieving the loss of loved ones, he offered this comfort: “We who are alive will be caught up

“They” refers to loved ones who believed and are now in God’s presence. A wife grieving the loss of her believing husband finds comfort in knowing that when the Lord comes, she will see him again. Sons and daughters who mourn the loss of a believing father or mother can find solace in the prospect of this joyful reunion when we will be reunited with those who have gone before us into the presence of God.

That was more than enough to solve my problem, and I hope it does the same for you. Christians who know and love each other on earth will know and love each other in heaven.
