No Longer Available: We no longer have the item, nor can we get any more.
Special Order Only: The maker still has the item, and we can Special Order it for you.
Out of Stock: We have it on reorder, but it hasn't come in yet
(we may be waiting for a shipping date from the factory).

Shipping Information

Unless otherwise requested we ship with UPS. Our base shipping fee is $8.50 but shipping costs have increased over the last two years in addition to fuel surcharges being added several times as the price went up on gasoline. We have absorbed these fees for two years now and finally we have no option but to increase our charges. Additionally, the Credit Card companies have increased their charges and, although from the outset of our accepting credit cards we absorbed the total cost involved, we can not continue with that policy. It has become too costly for us, in view of the discounts we offer. Henceforth there will be a surcharge applied to each order equaling 3% of the total cost. We will still absorb part of the charges but we cannot absorb them all. My apologies for this but it cannot be helped. As long as the service companies continue to raise their prices on an annual basis we must as well and the easiest way to do that is with a surcharge.

All orders are shipped on the day they are received if they are received before 3PM.
Orders received after 3PM will be shipped the following day.

Guidelines for all Foreign Purchases
First purchase in every case will be by wire transfer only. Contact limogesboxlady@mindspring.com for wire transfer information. It is a very simple thing to do requiring only a telephone call to your bank.

Cash Sales:
Wire transfer of funds only. Contact limogesboxlady@mindspring.com for wire transfer information.

Credit Card Sales:
All purchases will be sent to Credit Card billing address only.

For each Foreign Sale, please provide us with the following:
via fax: 1-818-349-2027. We require:

  1. Copy of Drivers License, front and back.
  2. Copy of Credit Card, front and back.
  3. Copy of Previous Month's Credit Card Statement showing billing address, card number and card holder's name.
  4. A letter stating the amount you are authorizing us to charge with a cursive, (hand written) signature which will remain in our files. This can be done via email if you have a scanner or via fax at: 1-818-349-2027.

    We are extremely sorry that it has become necessary for us to set such stringent guidelines and we apologize for any inconveniences the requirements may cause you, but it has become an absolute necessity to do this. Except for the personal letter requirement they are all for first time purchasers only.

About Our Stock of Boxes

Most boxes in our catalog are here, in our stock, ready to be shipped to you on the day on which your order is given us. If we are out of a box you may be sure that it is on reorder and due in shortly. Once in a great while, the maker is "out of stock" on a piece we reorder, and then it means waiting until the merchandise arrives from France. That can take, in some cases, as long as three months until we receive our new stock on it. We will tell you if that is the case. We do not normally have the makers drop ship the merchandise to you, as some catalogs do. We own all of the boxes in our catalog, currently in excess of 700 different pieces.

Special Orders

Special Orders require a deposit of $50.00 at the time the order is placed.

Your Privacy at The Perfect Gift

Your privacy is important to us. We do not share or sell information to anyone, not email lists, not customer lists, not material in the catalog, nothing at all.
No one other than Elayne has access to any of the information we hold on behalf of our customers. None of it is stored in any computer (with the exception of email addresses). We believe the only way for information really to be secure is not to be on the computer. That's one of the reasons we do not take credit cards online.
